LIFE & MOTIVATION

The hard work to pursue engineering as a life project happens in real life. However, the fuel that powers my efforts and dreams occurs in the distant worlds and universes found mainly in Speculative Fiction. As I try to always have a SF novel with me, I'll share some of my favorite pieces here, among other things...

Current Reads

The Foundation Trilogy

Asimov's Foundation remains one of the most transcendental pieces in SF history.

A cautionary tale that serves as a reminder for humanity to never be stagnant and keep pushing the edges of knowledge.

A piece of TV to always remember.

The Inner Light - Star Trek: TNG (S5, EP 25)

One of my favorite episodes in TV history. It is always touching to watch and reflect on humanity's place in the universe. The reminder that we only have one planet to call home always adds to my focus of pursuing the stars while improving life on Earth.

Music

Haru ha Yuku - Aimer.

My curiosity and desire for exploration also follows the music from multiple cultures on our planet. This song is always good to hear to reminisce about spring, my favorite season of the year. And, one of the best movies in history: Fate Heaven's Feel III

Luna

Best cat in my universe.

With the Spanish word for "moon" as her name, my cat holds my subjective opinion of her as the most beautiful being. A partner in the long study nights and a reason to always hope to visit home soon.
